For the afternoon performance, we aim to have the children changed and ready for collection by 3.20pm. Parents/carers who have watched the performance and will be collecting their children should exit through the main community doors, walk round to the playground and wait for the children to be dismissed. Complete the form below to book a seat on the KS2 Spring Production. Please read and follow the instructions carefully to ensure you book for the correct event. Each family may have two seats for each of their child’s performance. When you register you will receive a confirmation email. You must bring either a print out of the email you receive or show the email on your phone when you attend for the performance. I’ve really enjoyed my learning this half term, particularly PE and Science. In PE we have been practising basketball and hockey skills, which I think I’m getting better at. I’ve even taken a shine to gymnastics! In gym, we have learnt to create, rehearse and perform group routines, linked to synchronisation and canon. In Science, we are learning about the circulatory system and how it works. Yesterday, we made blood using objects to show: red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma and platelets. It was really interesting to think about how much blood is in our bodies. Lewis D This week in year 4 we have been looking at time in are maths lessons. I have been converting from analogue to digital and back, using 12 and 24 hour clocks and we have been converting between units of time. In science this week we have been explaining how electricity works. We have been drawing circuits then labelling the circuit with what components are and what way the electricity flows.
RM unify is a portal that provides you with links to many useful learning resources, some of which are paid services.
Examples of paid services are: Discovery Education Mathletics Mymaths Active Learn Google Apps for Education Office 365 The school has paid for your child to have online/home access to these resources. It really is worth taking advantage of these to support your child’s learning. Using RM Unify will keep you up to date with the online resources available to your child. RM unify is best accessed via a computer using Win7/8 or Mac software. RM Unify is also accessible through most tablet devices. Please be aware that not all tiles in Unify will work through a tablet. That’s because some tiles are accessed using apps from OS app stores. RM unify contains tiles which are SSO (single sign on). SSO means you can enter the username and password for the tile and it will remember it for next time. This way you don’t have to log into the resource over and over again. KS2 pupils should have alreay set up their SSO tiles in school so all you need to do at home is log into RM Unify. Log into RM Unify by going to: etp.rmunify.com Pupils log in details are the same as their school computer log in details. Please try logging into RM unify and explore some of tiles we have added. We feel these resources will significantly support your child’s learning. We are also constantly looking to invest in more resources so keep logging in to check if anything new has been added. You also have access to Office 365. This enables you use use nearly all the full features of Office from any device in any location with an internet connection. You can also request a license to install the full version of Office on up to 5 computers. This really is something worth taking advantage of. |
