Since completing our Key Stage 1 assessments, Year 2 have enjoyed a range of fun activities to extend our learning.
In our Foundation Subjects we have been discovering more about food. We have tried food from other counties countries, made some rocky road and begun finding out about the process of growing, making and producing food.
In Maths, we enjoyed measuring different liquids to make our own potions. Many of our concoctions smelt disgusting however we had a wonderful time with our friends from Year 6 helping us to accurately measure using ml and litres.
In Computing, we have utilised spreadsheets to organise and sort data. We have planned our end of year party early this year and priced everything we wanted. Some of us had rather expensive aspirations, the most expensive party was something close to £1,500. We may need to think this through some more!
